COOLER, CONDENSER/CONDENSING UNIT & COMPRESSOR selections.
Unit Coolers, Condenser/Condensing Unit, Compressor and Packaged Refrigeration systems selections are computed in SEPARATE programs called 'COOLWIND', 'CONDWIND', 'COMPWIND ' and ‘PACKWIND’ respectively. These are accessed seamlessly from this program. After optimum selections which meet the duty requirements have been made, return to this program is automatic with the current calculation still intact in the computer's memory. This means that further edits can be made to entered data to 'fine tune' the Coldroom design - perhaps to achieve a more economic result - then select new Refrigeration equipment. Editing data in 'COLDWIND' after equipment selections have been made will delete previous unit cooler selections - because load requirements may have changed.
Cooler and condensing unit selections cannot of course be made unless these accessory programs have been installed. Consult Mistral for details.
PIPE SIZING & ROOM COSTING.
Pipe sizing and room costing/estimating systems are computed in SEPARATE programs called 'LINEWIND' (or PIPEWIND) and 'COSTWIND' respectively. As with Cooler, Condenser/Condensing Unit and Compressor selection programs these are accessed seamlessly from 'COLDWIND'. Pipe sizing and room costing cannot of course be made unless these accessory programs have been installed. Consult Mistral for details.
