Mistral's Expert System software is clearly a valuable resource. At Mistral we know that. Not just because of what it costs us to develop and constantly, on a daily basis to maintain, but because almost every valued customer who has ever chosen to reward us with their licence order and therefore their trust, has continued to support us to this day.
We value that trust along with the contribution to our eye-watering costs in maintaining this unique system and we are determined not to let competitors to our loyal customers gain access at their expense. Hence the need for a sophisticated access security system.
Mistral's security systems are not dissimilar to those used by banks. And we all know about those. They aren't all that reliable. However there ends the similarity.
Mistral's systems are reliable. Mainly because of the human element. Although clever software algorithms identify and separate our honest, licence fee paying customers from the chancers and the cheaters, the final sanction to grant access must be performed manually. By our dedicated team and who make it their job to know who our customers are. That way we get it right 99.99% of the time and only issue access codes to those who are entitled to them.
The flaw in this though is that it takes time. Also, up until now we have been reactive rather than proactive in the way we perform essential manual checks. In other words we check entitlement after we are effectively asked to do so. Things are about to change though. Mistral will no longer wait until you ask to download our latest software and interactive databases. In future we will anticipate that you will do so and we will put all the necessary switches, checks and balances into place even before you ask. This will be based upon your previous download history, or, if you are a new customer, then upon the moment our commercial bankers confirm receipt of your first payment to us. This means that when you or your colleagues do request a download, at any time, then there will be no waiting time for access registration codes to be forwarded to you.
Obviously we cannot overcome any delays created by occasional email routing issues but thankfully these are rare. What it will mean though is that if you are located in a different time zone to our staff, who incidentally are based in three continents across the planet, then it will make no difference. You should receive the access registration code that you are entitled to almost instantly.
Even your 'favourite' bank is unlikely to be able to match that!
