Air supply grilles are normally designed to provide up to 0.25 m/s (50 fpm) in occupied spaces. 50 to 100 0.25 to 0.51 Awareness of significant air movement although this may not cause complaint providing air temperature within acceptable limits 20°C (68°F) to 22°C (72°F). 100 to 200 0.51 to 1.02 Constant awareness of strong air movement although may be considered acceptable in some work environments such as factories; providing air temperature within acceptable limits as described above. 200 and above 1.02 and above Uncomfortable. Resulting in complaints about drying eyes and even disturbing desk papers in offices or dust in factories.
