Creation of the original King James Bible was completed in the year 1611. It contained 783,137 words.

The New King James Bible modernised English version was published in 1982. It contains 770,430 words and some versions include up to around 200 illustrations.

Mistral commenced research and development of its RAC Application Engineering Expert System software in 1984. The current version was last edited around an hour ago, and will likely be edited or added to again within the next hour. It currently contains approximately fifteen and a half million legible* words, in 10 languages. Twenty times more than the New King James Bible. The system also contains around 17,000 hyperlinked photographic images and scale dimensioned line drawings, plus icons.
*This excludes a couple of million words contained in various interactive coding languages.

Very few people have ever or will ever read the Bible from end to end. Similarly Mistral would not expect any single person to ever see more than around 5% of its Expert System software. Furthermore, two engineers in adjacent offices may never see the same 5% as each other, but the system has to provide for both, along with everyone else.

Mistral's commitment:
Bringing the benefits of computerisation to our industry - without the historically associated problems.
