London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who uses a highest end specification, £300,000 5 litre V8 Range Rover to get around the city, is planning to banish Range Rovers and other SUVs from London. On the grounds their owners are 'shameful'. What part of the word 'hypocrite' don't you understand Khan?!
I see. Range Rovers with exactly the same 'footprint' as a quarter of all other cars such as Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes, even Ferrari and Lamborghini on London's streets today. Actually many of which are up to half a metre longer than a Range Rover. Are you going to ban all these cars too you fool? Knightsbridge and Mayfair are already disappearing round the U bend for lack of revenue you idiot!
I think many members of the current ruling government, including the Prime Minister, might also be a tad disappointed by such a plan as well. As for half the members of the Royal Family then Sadiq you idiot, I guess you can kiss goodbye to ever receiving a knighthood. What are you suggesting they drive about in when going about their normal daily ribbon cutting excursions? Fiat 500s?
As for the 'culture of envy', unemployable, Social Security dependant, achiever hating brigade claiming SUVs are more dangerous, then because of their elevated driving position actually the total opposite is true. Driving an SUV allows you to see potential hazards ahead a split second before other drivers.
Finally an SUV with similar wheelbase and track width to at least a quarter of other vehicles on the road does not mean it requires more parking space just because it is taller. You might need an 'O' Level or something like that in Domestic Science or Needlework to figure it out but hey ho. I have never had any difficulty parking a 4.9 metre long Range Rover L322 or L405 within any London parking bay.
I am 6' 4" tall and although you might be a pip squeak little runt you will not shoehorn me into a Citroën C3.
Sadiq Khan you are a hypocritical moron! Clearly unfit for purpose and should park your pig ignorant backside elsewhere! I suggest you move to Solihull, where they build Range Rovers and Jaguars! I'm sure the locals there will be absolutely delighted to welcome the destroyer of one of the UK's leading industries, employers, exporters and GDP earners into their community.
