Goodbye dear Brigitte

I sold my 1957 Mobylette. Chap turning up soon to collect it. So this morning I had to remove Brigitte Bardot.

Struth it was complicated. Seven years ago when Brigitte helped me celebrate my 70th birthday at our local restaurant I was obviously determined she wouldn't fall off.

The scaffolding concealed in her knickers securing her to the pinion would have made Gustave Eiffel proud. Took me over an hour, with an armoury of tools. She didn't want to go. I can understand that.

My dear wife wants me to sell her too. Sacrilege!

My suggestion we dress her respectfully and have her stand in our veranda, holding a tray to serve cocktails and nibbles, got shot down in flames.
