It shouldn't happen to a man.
Hercules was walking through his pretty little Greek village one day when he spotted his good friend Achilles sitting on the wall over-looking the harbour way down below. Achilles was sobbing his heart out and muttering something about 'It shouldn't happen to a man.'
"What on earth is the matter my friend? You look terrible, and you sound even worse. What can I do?"
"Hercules, do you see all the lovely boats in the harbour? I designed and built half of them with my own bare hands!"
"Yes Achilles, I see them, they are all very nice. But that cannot be your problem, surely not?"
"The liitle Chapel, next to us, I spent half my life restoring the ceiling fresco. I never asked for a drachma."
"Yes, yes, I know. Go on."
"I am a qualified Architect and a trained builder. I created many of the beautiful houses in this village."
"Yes, yes, yes, I know you did."
"Do my neighbours say, when they pass me in the street?" "Hello boat builder Achilles?, or." "There is Achilles the artist, or." "I just saw old Achilles the famous architect." "No! They do not!"
"They say none of those things. And only once did I shag a goat and I was caught!"
