It never ceases to amaze us just how much time and money some will waste trying to hack around Mistral's Intellectual Property access licence payment systems. If instead they simply met the modest fees Mistral charges they could save themselves a fortune.
Surprisingly the illegal practice is more prevalent among larger corporations. Rarely does a smaller business attempt such theft. We wonder too whether larger organisations also encourage their staff in shoplifting! And yes, we do know who they all are!
Some persist in trying to gain access to Mistral's Intellectual Property (computer software) without paying for it year after year after year. Whether this is with their employers' knowledge or even endorsement we neither know nor care. Either way it is shameful and despicable.
A word of advice for anyone contemplating hacking. No one has ever ultimately succeeded in stealing from Mistral. Not even in Mistral's four decade history. Mistral has successfully prosecuted many for trying though in that time! Fines and restitution payments upon conviction are now extremely high and generally set by Judges based upon consideration of the gross turnover of the culprit.
Finally, don't forget. After more than four decades everyone in our industry knows Mistral. Furthermore, Mistral knows everyone in our industry!
