Don't turn this.. .. .. into this!
Most both fresh and cooked food freezes well. Some better than others. Here is a short list however of foods which in our opinion should not be frozen. As these do not recover well. Either through damage to cell structure turning them mushy, or to flavour loss, or unrecoverable ingredient separation upon thawing.

ANY food previously frozen and since thawed | |
Some will disagree. All a matter of taste. Occasionally strawberries recover reasonably well, in a flan for example. But not often. IMPORTANT! Re-freezing once frozen and subsequently thawed food is pathologically dangerous! Only exception being food cooked at high temperature soon after thawing.
