Exquisite design. Perfect, immaculately engineered, practical and inexpensive. A jewel!

I don't know how I survived in this cruel world without one for the past seven decades!

Mistral recently published an article applauding the benefits of a 'Desktop' mini refrigerator. Made by a German company under the brand name Klarstein. arrow_back_blue_icon.gif Click!

Mistral stands by its praise. A lovely piece of kit and a great bargain. And NO! Manufacturers do not pay Mistral to publish its opinions. Mistral publishes its observations under our free volition to do so.

Mistral has discovered this beautiful European made piece of kit which will compliment the Klarstein mini refrigerator. Actually a great adjunct to any home appliances, whether or not you wish your life to be boosted by a mini-fridge.

No bigger than a hat box or a kiddy's school rucksack this little machine delivers perfect, ultra cold ice in just minutes. Not ice 'cubes' as such but regular sewing thimble sized 'tips' of ice.

The Livoo is made in Italy, home of so many of the world's best engineering companies, also made in Japan and the USA. Mistral's research suggests made to the brilliant ice machine process invented by Japanese firm Hoshizaki, patented around forty years ago. We might be wrong on this last point, so please don't hold us to it. However with a cumulative staff work experience of well over three hundred 'man years' in commercial refrigeration, we do believe Mistral has a right to draw some observational, peer based conclusions!

For testing purposes Mistral has punished this little engineering marvel over the past few weeks. 'Stress testing' we call it, for example by disconnecting power halfway though a cycle. Something so much cheap Chinese rip-off poor quality appliances quite simply cannot cope with. It's obviously digitally controlled functions appear to be faultless. Simply put, the machine does what it says on the box. Thankfully uninhibited by any software nerd induced, totally unnecessary LCD display and mindless, incomprehensible intructions!!!

livoo_ice_tip.png Switch the Livoo on around 30 minutes ahead of a dinner party for a dozen or so guests and you will have enough ultra cold ice essential for enhancing G & T's and the occasional single Malt, for the whole evening.
